Good news! I got an electric guitar on Saturday. It's beautiful. I'm learning some songs. I also have tried to pick up on how to perform and write chords for guitars that I came up with. I enjoy writing songs. It helps me focus on something if something is bothering me, though I don't use them as a vent or a journal of sorts. I just write random songs. Though now that I have a guitar I can actually play some of those songs. I don't know if I'll record anything. I'm not the best at this type of stuff, as I literally have no musical knowledge other than like tempos and really basic things. So I don't even think that my songs are well written or anything. But I don't need them to be absolutely number 1 grammy-winning hits, I just need songs that will be suitable to work on when I'm bored. I have written three songs fully. I have two that I'm shuffling back and forth on. I usually write songs that are similar to works by The Weeknd or Artemas, but I started writing a song that's very guitar carried so I can try it out on my new guitar. I think my lyrics are absolute trash, but they'll work to practice on.

My parents said that if I can pass all my classes with A's, they'll help me get an iPhone. Them and I both know that my budget samsung isn't working for our situation. It regularly freezes, has terrible internet connection, takes like three hours to download anything, and the location tracking is so laggy that I can be in my room and will randomly give my mom teh notification I left the house and am three blocks away. I don't expect anything fancy, I know I'll get heavy parental controls and not the newest, bestest phone there is. I am ok with an iPhone 12/13. (C'mon, that was like almost 6 years ago when those came out). But there's one itty-bitty, teensie weensie problem. I have two F's, three C's, and a B and an A. Not exactly the best outlook for me right now. And unfortunately midterms slapped me in the face with cut-offs. Most of those grades are nearly impossible to make up. I'm gonna have to send out a lot of emails. 🤞

April 23rd, 2026, #2

Hey, I'm back less than an hour later! So ignore what I said about not having anything to say in my previous post. I have SOME things...

----

I don't know how often I'll update my blog. To be honest, I might use it as a semi-diary of sorts. Like, I'm not gonna fill this place up with my personal info and events and overshare a bunch, I do want to show some funny occurrences or maybe ones that I feel like should be shared. I'll also definitely rant about stupid things that happen in my life, or just life in general, whether that's about the state of our current government or how ridiculously stupid AI is getting. I've surprisingly never heard of this site until today. I found it by searching up a website that strawpage had on their homepage. Weird how they keep saying that strawpage is gonna be a blogging platform and that there's that huge "BLOGGING COMING SOON!" image on the dashboard, yet they seemed to have silently released this site. Or maybe it's really new and it like, released yesterday and they just haven't updated all of strawpage to say so. [EDIT: It was released in 2017... I guess I am just out of the strawpage-loop]

----

Also today I got a new electric scooter. It's really nice, and it's battery lasts more than a round trip to my school and back, unlike my other one. Not that my school is far or anything, it's just that my old one sucked. My little brother is probably going to start using the old one now. The one thing I will miss from it though is that it had bluetooth and lights that synced to the beat of the song that was playing. That was sweet.

I got Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on the 16th. I love it a lot, and have been on the grind for the past week now. I made my family, friends, my OC, and some characters from movies such as Outer Banks. I love the weird humor of the game, and the fact they didn't do ANY censoring of what you can do is insane because someone can put "Masturbating" as a topic on their island and there would be nothing to stop you. Very different compared to their previous island-owning game Animal Crossing. I liked that game at first, but once you get into the parts where you're basically only living to pay off that damn debt, it gets annoying. And also it's very slow paced, y'know to get that chill, relax-y vibe that you're just living your life on an island now,.... and then I got Tomodachi Life and you could basically go at any pace you wanted. If you want to speedrun the game, just add a bunch of people, collect a bunch of money from them, buy all the stores and places and what-not.... I hope they add more content because I am already almost done unlocking all the quirks, and I already finished the item granting ones. I wish that my residents would just face their feelings for each other because I have like 3 couples, two of which are ready to marry but WON'T. And also two sets of residents who are mutually crushing on each other but won't say anything, until finally one of them loses their feelings for the other one. Major airball.

23rd April 2026

April 23rd, 2026.

My first blog on here, notepin.co. Well, also, my first blog at all, really. Well then, nothing extremely exciting has happened today so I'm going to use this one as like a "get to know me" type thing.

-----

My name is Luke, but I go by Roommate or Oblivious on most platforms I'm on. (I prefer my platform names, strangers calling me by my first name creep me out broski) I'm under 18 by the way, so no weird crap... I know some of y'all can be creeps at times... YES YOU 🫵. I enjoy making art, specifically Tradition paper and pencil and also pixel art, which I'm getting better at. I enjoy listening to a lot of different genres, so here are some of my top artists:

- Billie Eilish

-Artemas

-Pavement

-Magdalena Bay

- Gorillaz

- The Weeknd

Well, that's all I have to say right now.
